We are Kendell and Evelyn Healy, a married photography team based in South Carolina. Since 2010, we’ve been photographing families, seniors, engagements, and bridals—along with the occasional wedding—and a substantial body of commissioned commercial and fashion work, which you’ll notice throughout our portfolio.

Our focus is simple and intentional: creating highly stylized, carefully crafted printed portraits for families and individuals who want more than images that live briefly on a screen.
At the heart of Healy Portrait Photography is a belief that photographs should be physical. In a culture where images are easily lost to phones, hard drives, and cloud storage, we exist to create portraits meant to be held, displayed, and passed down. Printed photographs become part of a family’s story—tangible objects that preserve memory, meaning, and connection. Simply put, memories are better held than stored.
Every session we photograph is designed with the final printed artwork in mind from the very beginning. During your planning consultation, before a portrait is ever captured, we determine how your images will ultimately live in your home, whether as framed pieces on your walls, printed books, or fine art prints for family and extended family. This approach gives clarity and purpose to the entire experience and allows us to photograph with intention rather than trend.
