Frequently Asked Questions
What Photography Services do you offer?
We offer portrait photography for families, high school seniors, engagement, bridal, maternity, and lifestyle editorial portraits.
Keep in mind that all of our photography services involve physically printed portraits in the form of wall art, photo books, heirloom albums, and archival photo boxes.
What Makes You Unique?
We are photographers who help you intentionally design artwork for your home.
Further we are not trendy. We focus on thoughtful composition and classic portraiture that stands the test of time.
How do you charge?
Our services are entirely product oriented. Your first initial investment is the photography session where we charge a rate for our expertise and time in creating your portraits.
Beyond the photography session, your investment will be toward the printed photography products we offer. No surprises here: We will discuss and view the art for your home during your planning session.
Our primary print-lab is located in Italy.
What is your Pricing?
Our pricing is guided by the artwork you wish to create.
A family commissioning a 30×40 framed portrait for their living room, individual heirloom portraits of each child for a custom album or wall composition, and an on-location session at Isle of the Palms, SC will be priced differently than a family selecting a single 16×20 framed portrait created in their home during a family gathering.
Because our work is designed to live beautifully in print—not just on a screen—each session is tailored around the finished pieces you intend to display and preserve. Once we understand your vision, we provide a clear, personalized investment
Do you offer digital files?
Yes, we do offer digital files, but not just the digital files. The digital files you will receive are in parallel to your print products. The digital files are suitable for social media and sharing. There is a private on-line viewing gallery that will parallel your prints as well.
We view digital files as an integral part of the process of creating your end product—printed art for your home.
Truthfully, when photographers deliver digital files as an end product, what they are delivering is an expensive digital image that will, in time, get lost within the endless scroll of your mobile device or hard drive somewhere. Not so with printed art that is highly valued because it becomes part of every-day-life in your home for everyone to enjoy.
Will you guide us in selecting our wall art?
Yes, during the viewing and ordering session, we’ll guide you through selecting the framing and presentation that best complements both your portraits and your home. This is one of our favorite moments—when everything comes together and your images are transformed into finished artwork meant to be lived with and cherished for generations.
From beautifully framed pieces to heirloom albums, books, and a curated treasure box of matted photographs, each element is thoughtfully designed to preserve your story.
